Prepared a comprehensive business plan and an operating budget which resulted in securing a $541,000 contact line of credit. |

Implemented a monthly budget tracking tool which reduced a projected overhead overrun in the first year by 50% and eliminated any overhead overrun by the second year. |

Developed a “Net Quick Cash Report” that adjusted for under- and over-billed profits on all unfinished projects that provided the company’s real/true cash balance each week. |

Developed a company policy manual and an employee handbook for a small defense contractor so that no fines or penalties would be imposed due to failing to comply with government regulations. |

Reviewed, edited, and approved the necessary annual returns for 401(k) and ESOP plans to achieve compliance with ERISA requirements for all applicable plan years. |

Completed the Small Business Administration’s Certificate of Competency paperwork in order to receive a U.S. Air Force contract award totaling $245,000 which was the first contract award for a start-up company. |

Replaced a legacy accounting system with a state-of-the-art Enterprise accounting system that allowed for the elimination of 1 full-time accounting position and 1 part-time database consultant. |

Changed insurance broker and insurance carrier for Workers’ Compensation insurance to realize a 50% premium reduction, saving the company $125,000 per year. |
